Tonight I sit in my childhood home and feel such comfort being here among my parents and my own little family.

Tonight I sat with my 3 sisters and mom and converse on life, love and the pursuit of happiness.

Tonight I sat among numbers of nieces and nephews and their loud noises of laughter, cries, tattle tailing, kissing, hugging and lots of love. It reminded of my childhood growing up with my cousins.

Tonight I chatted with my parents and we talked about nothing and everything and all that is important to somebody.

Tonight I breathe easier being here in this home.
I love being HOME!
I love that my husband loves being in this HOME!
I love that my children love being in my parents’ HOME!

Today after you read this.....Jot down some of the feeling you get when you go to your childhood home, grandparents home, spouses childhood home.

Fifth Grade was a big year for me. The summer before my 5th grade year we moved, which meant a new town, new school and new friends. I remember being so sad that we were moving and I had to leave my best friends behind, however I also remember once I got to the new area...it wasn't that bad.

Here are a few questions for you to answer.....maybe these will spark some fond memories or possibly some will surface that you are trying to forget. Either way...WRITE IT Down.

List 5 memories you have from your 5th grade year?

-Watching (did you feel more comfortable on the sideline?)

-hop scotch? (what did you use as your markers?)
-jump rope? (do you remember any of the songs you use to sing while jumping?)
-picking up the fallin leaves during fall?
-looking for 4 leaf clovers?
-helping the teacher during recess?
-did you eat lunch room food or bring a sack lunch?
-playground?
-library time?
